Meet Cindee

Why the Trail of Hearts Exists

My name is Cindee, and for most of my life I worked in the corporate world — building, striving, providing, and pushing through.

I discovered a rocky trail along the canal that led to a mountain and after being laid off for the first time of many, I found myself with something I hadn’t had in years: TIME.

So I went to the mountain trail near my home — a place I had always said, “If I ever had the time, I would clean this up.”

That day, I did. Only brought a water bottle, trash bag and gardening gloves on this adventure.

Eight hours picking up trash in the June desert heat 🌵, not knowing that as I cleaned the trail, God was quietly cleaning my heart ♥️— helping me release grief, start to forgive, and begin healing in ways I didn’t yet understand.

For years after, I kept walking that trail — praying, listening, releasing.

It turns out I had known Jesus all along; I had just buried Him under life, loss, and striving.
This trail helped bring Him back into my daily life — step by step, conversation by conversation.

In April 2024, I was baptized, and everything started to make more sense.

Since then, the trail has become a living testimony — not something I planned, but something God unfolded one step at a time.

After leaving corporate life after seasons of uncertainty, and after a fall on the trail where my heart stopped and Jesus carried me to safety, the rock hearts began appearing everywhere.♥️

Then came the call to paint them.

Not as art.
Not as decoration.
But as reminders.

Today, The Trail of Hearts ♥️ exists to remind anyone who walks it — and anyone who sees a heart along their path…..

that God’s Love ♥️ is everywhere. All you have to do is seek.

The hearts are shared freely.
The baskets of rock hearts invite you to take one, create one, or pass God’s Love ♥️ along.

This is not a project.
It’s a testimony in motion.

“You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
