🌿 A Trail Story (because God has a sense of humor)

While painting, I met a sweet vet student named Nick and his dog Kahlua. We shared stories, and I promised to pray 🙏 for him and his wife.

Then… real life kicked in 😄

Because my car had been parked too long, a police officer came to check on it. So there I was hobbling up the huge hill (broken toe), covered in red paint, carrying Baby Jesus, art supplies, and a selfie stand… looking slightly unhinged.

After catching my breath and placing my arms on the car looking 👀 like I am getting arrested, we talked kindly and calmly. I shared my story and told him how Jesus saved my life. He smiled, said he was glad I was safe, and sent me on my way.

Later I realized the whole thing was probably on his body cam… and honestly, they’re probably laughing at the station🤣

Which feels about right.

Because SEEK isn’t about perfection.
It’s just about showing up, loving people, and letting God meet us in real life.

And today… He absolutely did. 💛

💛 The Heart Behind This Creation

After five straight days of packing, my body was exhausted — but my soul needed the trail.

So I grabbed my paint and spent six quiet hours outside with God.

Painting.
Praying.
Talking with strangers.
Laughing.

SEEK

This piece is called SEEK, but the stones on the ground spell LOVE — because when we truly SEEK God, what we actually find is His LOVE ❤️

It reads:

SEEK God’s Love…

As I painted, I was nudged to tucked little red hearts ❤️ throughout the rocks like reminders:
keep seeking… keep noticing… He’s everywhere.

It ended up being one of the most joyful, childlike, “just me and the Father” days I’ve ever had creating. Giving all Glory to HIM🙏
