Behind This Creation

After five straight days of packing, my body was exhausted — but my soul needed the trail.

So I grabbed my paint and spent six quiet hours outside with God.

Painting.
Praying.
Talking with strangers.
Laughing.

Pure Joy🥰

But there is a deeper story behind this piece.

For a long time, someone had created a sign along the trail using a

Greek symbol

than some one turned the sign to spell:

Jesus

the sign was not my creation, but my revelation I shared with a

friend who was doubting if Jesus was real when I saw it:

One morning, after a close friend had stayed with me during a season of deep grief,

I returned to the trail alone.

Overnight, someone had changed the rock sign Jesus into

something very hateful. So Hateful I can not type it out.

When I saw it, my heart sank.

It felt evil.
Heavy.
Dark.

And I instantly felt grateful my friend had not walked the trail that morning to see it.

I truly believe God protected her heart ❤️ from that moment.

As I stood there trying to process what I was seeing,

a small asian man wearing an orange hat came walking down the hill.

We had smiled and said hello to each other before, but we did not speak the same language.

Still — somehow — we both understood what needed to happen✝️

Without words, we began moving the stones together.

Turning the hate into LOVE ❤️

That moment stayed with me deeply.

Two strangers from completely different backgrounds,

unable to communicate verbally, yet united in choosing light over darkness.

Love

became the answer.

Later, I felt God nudge me to paint the stones so the message would always remain:

LOVE ❤️

Because when we truly seek God, what we actually find is HisLove.

As it was painted, little red hearts were tucked throughout the rocks like reminders:
keep seeking…
keep noticing…
He’s everywhere.

It became one of the most joyful, childlike, “just me and the Father” days I’ve ever experienced creating.

Giving all Glory to God 🙏
